Tensei Ren

Hello, Asakusa! We are Tensei Ren, an Awa Odori group based in Shibuya, Tokyo.

In 2018, we became a sister group of Shinbashi Ren, a member of the Awa Odori Promotion Association in Tokushima, the birthplace of Awa Odori. Since then, we have traveled between Tokushima and Tokyo, devoting ourselves with passion to the Awa Odori we love.

Our performance brings the spirit of Tokushima to life through the free and dynamic men’s dance, the graceful yet sometimes powerful women’s dance, and traditional festival music rooted in the authentic two-beat rhythm of Awa Odori.

Please enjoy the spirit, energy, and passion of our performance.

We are Tensei Ren.
