Hachamecha Ren

With the motto “Raise your hands, move your feet—and you’re dancing Awa Odori!”, Hachamecha Ren brings together Awa Odori lovers of all ages to share the joy of dancing.

The group is known for its bright melodies played in shichihon-choshi tuning and its lively, upbeat festival music.

The dancing features a simple yet dynamic men’s style and a graceful, flowing women’s style. Be sure to notice the costumes as well—the stylish yukata featuring a wave motif and the beautiful women’s costumes inspired by the moon shining over the waves.

All of our members are truly delighted to take part in the Asakusa Awa Odori once again this year.

Like rippling waves beneath a full moon, we hope our performance spreads smiles and joy throughout the audience.
