Mitaka Ren

Mitaka Ren is an Awa Odori group representing the Mitaka Chuo-dori Shopping District, located near the south exit of Mitaka Station.

Celebrating its 54th anniversary this year, Mitaka Ren is the oldest Awa Odori group in Mitaka City.

Today, the group has around 90 members of all ages and performs at the Mitaka Awa Odori as well as at numerous events and festivals both within and beyond Mitaka.

From the graceful women’s dance and powerful men’s dance to the charming performances of our youngest dancers, each brings its own unique energy to the stage.

We will give it our all to share the joy of Awa Odori—a performance that is fun for us to dance and brings smiles to everyone watching.
