Aikyo Ren

Dressed in the deep indigo colors of ai, our hearts begin to dance as the rhythms of zomeki fill the air.

Based in Minami-Koshigaya, Aikyo Ren is a sister group of Awa Ren, one of Tokushima’s renowned Awa Odori groups. Through dedicated practice, we continue to learn and carry on both its techniques and spirit.

The women dance gracefully with amigasa hats, while the men perform with powerful, dynamic movements using uchiwa fans. The traditional festival music flows and resonates like the waters of the Yoshino River.

With new members joining us this year, our group has grown even more united.
